Surrounded by rice fields, coconut trees, stunning beaches and friendly neighbourhoods is Swarapadi Residential Recording Studio in Bali, Indonesia. The only professional Bali recording studio, Swarapadi offers a truly one-off experience.
The Swarapadi villa is located in the peaceful city of Ubud and was built from scratch by the current owners with the aim to create the ultimate paradise residential recording studio. The house is spread out to create a relaxing and spacious environment – there is a large living room, kitchen and dining area with Viking stove and large dinner table, and media room with 92″ projection screen, PS3 and 5.1 surround sound. The villa contains four bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, 32″ LCD TVs, satellite services, DVD players, fridges, wireless internet and air-conditioning.
Your hosts at Swarapadi provide a fantastic choice of delicious, locally-produced Balinese cuisine served daily. Signature crispy duck, barbecue pork ribs and beef satay are just a few of the Indonesian dishes you’ll be enjoying.
At the back of the villa is the stunning outdoor area where guests can enjoy the scorching sunshine! An overflow swimming pool measuring 17m x 4m is at the heart of the garden, and there is a large barbecue / chill-out area that is great for eating and lounging in. A spa facility and massage therapist adds to the life of luxury clients experience, as does the resident butler.
In the same building is the state-of-the-art Swarapadi studio, which has been designed to combine the best of both the analogue and digital worlds. Its control room features a SSL 9064 J Series console with total recall and moving fader automation. Clients are given a good choice of outboard equipment, microphones and backline gear. An Apple G5 computer runs Pro Tools 8 and Logic. Local Balinese musicians can be provided for sessions should you really want to tap into the local music cultures.
