Assault & Battery 2 Rates

Lockout Rate: £ 250 / day on top of agreed rate
Day Rate: £ 800 / day
5-Day Rate: £ 650 / day
Unsigned Rate: £ 400 / day
Half day Rate: £ 500 / day (6 hours)
Hourly Rate: £ 90 / hour (minimum 3 hours)

What the rates include

• Assault & Battery 2 is booked as a 12 hour day. The 12 hours begin from when you wish to start.
• All the prices exclude VAT which is chargeable at 17.5%.
• The rates include an assistant (unless stated) but not an engineer. You can hire one of our engineers on top of the rate.
• All prices exclude tapes/materials, cabs and hire costs.
• The rates include the equipment shown on the equipment specification but as you can imagine the gear does break from time to time. If we cannot replace the gear we cannot offer a discount on the rate. Of course in the unlikely scenario that a major breakdown happens during the session (such as the console / tape machine) we shall discuss the time lost.
• Any equipment that is 'subject to availability' on the individual room specifications, needs to be requested prior to the session. This is especially important for guitar amps and backline, which regularly moves around the studios. There may be a delivery charge for this equipment if it is at another studio.
• Piano tuning is charged from £ 60.00 / call out. We would always recommend that you tune the piano prior to use.
• And contrary to some rumours concocted by our competitors, tea and coffee is free throughout the day and we may throw in the odd sweet or two if you are good.

Day Rate

This is the day rate of Assault & Battery 2. The day is a 12 hour day. A lockout day rate (upto 7am the following morning) can be arranged by calling the office prior to the commencement of the session.

Lockout Rate

The Lockout rate for Assault & Battery 2 is another £ 250.00 on top of the day rate agreed. This will give you as many hours as you need up to 7am in the morning.

5 day Rate

The 5-Day Rate offers a slightly cheaper rate than the day rate. If you want this rate and are doing under 5 days it may be possible to achieve this as long as you can be flexible with your booking. If we do not have to turn away a larger session we can offer you the studio at this rate. If another session does come in you may be asked to either pay the higher day rate, move your session to another date or move to another studio if we have one free.

Unsigned Rate

If you are a band / artist and are unsigned we may be able to offer you our unsigned rate. Please note if you are Radiohead who may not technically need a record deal we do not consider you unsigned! The unsigned rate is only for bands that do not have professional representation and are not signed. The rate includes an assistant but for only £ 50.00 more you can choose to have one of our younger engineers without an assistant. These unsigned rates can only be confirmed 24 hours before the start date.
