Directions

Fisher Lane Studios is on the South-East side of Chiddingfold, near Guildford. It is roughly an hours drive from West London, which is ideal for the many record labels based in the area. However it is also conveneintly placed for those coming from the South Coast. Here are some basic driving directions from West London and Brighton. 

There are plenty of parking spaces available on site. 

By Train 

The nearest train station is in Haslemere, which can be reached from London Waterloo. Once at Haslemere station Fisher Lane is 10 to 15 minutes drive away. 

You can also get a train to Guildford from Waterloo, which is a more frequent service. Guildford is a 20-25 minute drive from Fisher Lane, and in some circumstances we may be able to arrange a cab from the station. 

Directions by Car: 

From London / Fulham Broadway (roughly 1 hour)

• Head northwest on A304/Fulham Broadway toward Argon Mews. Continue to follow A304 for just under a mile.
• At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A219/Fulham High St. Continue to follow A219 for roughly 1.75 miles.
• At Tibbets Corner, take the 3rd exit onto the A3/Kingston Rd ramp and continue for around 100 yards.
• Merge onto A3/Kingston Rd. Continue to follow A3 and drive for 30 miles across the M25, towards and past Guildford.
• When you approach Godalming take the exit toward Milford/Petworth/A283/Haslemere/A286/Elstead/B3001, and continue straight.
• At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A283 and continue for roughly half a mile.
• Take a slight right at A283/Guildford and Godalming Bypass Rd.
• Turn right at A283/Portsmouth Rd and shortly after turn left at A283. Travel for just over 4.5 miles (you will go over one roundabaout).
• When you approach Chiddingfold take a slight left toward Pickhurst Rd.
• Continue straight onto Pickhurst Rd for slightly less than 2 miles.
• Turn left onto Fisher Lane. The studio is on the left hand side of the road roughly half a mile on.

From Brighton / Sea Front (roughly 1 hour)

• From Grand Junction Road, continue West along the sea front: Kings Road / Kingsway / A259. Continue for slightly over 6 miles.
• Once at Shoreham-by-sea, you will come to a roundabout where Brighton Road meets Old Shoreham Road. Take the 2nd exit onto Old Shoreham Road/A283/High St. Continue to follow A283 for roughly 8 miles.
• When you approach Wiston, take a right at Water Lane and continue for roughly half a mile.
• Take a left at Hole Street and continue for just over a mile towards London Road. Continue along London Road, through the village of Ashington, for roughly half a mile.
• At the far end of Ashington you will come to a roundabout. Take the 2nd exit onto B2133/Billingshurst Rd. Continue to follow B2133 for 2.5 miles.
• Turn left at B2139/Coolham Rd, and then immediately turn right at B2133/Harbolets Rd. Continue to follow B2133 for 3.5 miles.
• Turn right at A29/Stane St and then immediately left at B2133/Lordings Rd. After 1.5 miles take a slight left at A272/New Bridge Rd.
• Turn right at B2133 at continue for 3.5 miles.
• Turn left onto Plaistow Road and travel through Ifold, and then after 1.5 miles take another left at Loxwood Road.
• Travel for a mile into Plaistow. Turn right at The St and then immediately left at Dunsfold Road.
• After roughly 1.75 miles you will come to Fisher Lane on the left.
• Turn onto Fisher Lane. The Studio is just under 1.5 miles on the right-hand side of the road.
