What to Do
With the bustling Lark Lane on your doorstep, there's every chance that you'll be regularly tempted away from the studio for a few hours
each week to sample the local delights. It is no exaggeration to state that this small, colourful and friendly strip has pretty much every type of restaurant you
can think of, plus a fantastic choice of pubs and bars which all light-up in the evening when the hoards head to 'the Lane'!
Further into the depths of Central Liverpool there's countless more attractions and things to do. Having held the baton for
'European Capital of Culture' in 2008 it is a magnet for visitors wanting to soak up the wonders of this world famous
port city. From nightclubs to river tours, shopping malls to world-famous landmarks, Merseybeat culture to Premiership football, there's a hell of a lot to do if you find the time!

Marantos Italian is set in a striking three-tiered Tudor house which

This growing chain of Thai restaurants is popping up around North England, and the Liverpool branch
has recently been charging forth on the foodie awards front. In 2008 it was nominated for
Cheshire & Lancashire Life's Food & Wine Awards' 'Newcomer of the Year, and was given the
'Taste Liverpool 08' for excellence in food and service. In other words if its Thai you want, Chilli Banana
is literally up your street.

Chefs prepare dishes in an open plan kitchen made from ingredients carefully picked and imported from Turkey.

punters who can't get enough. The general consensus is superb food, excellent service and a hugely enjoyable atmosphere, making
Red Fort one of the very best curry houses in Liverpool. Very conveniently located for a cheeky take-away as well!

twist, apparently in the seasoning! You might fancy heading down for their Mezedes (Greek banquet) one night. You'll be
in store for 15 splendiferous courses of hot and cold starters and many charcoal-grilled meats. At the end of the small dining area
is a wine bar selling wines from - you've guessed it - Greece and Cyprus.

Beatleism has left you tingling with excitement, then you're going to love their "Water-way to see Livepool" slogan! You'll no doubt

You can get closer to the Liver Building on foot by going to Pier Head. It is a major part of Liverpool's
