The Motor Museum Recording Studio - News Page

New Year, New Team!

Posted on 17th January 2013

After four hugely successful years under the watch of producer Mike Crossey, 2013 sees the Motor Museum welcome Al Groves and Mark Bartley as the new driving force behind the studio.

Having built and run Sandhills Studio's for the previous seven years, Al and Mark have now moved into the iconic Liverpool studio and are battening down the hatches for a busy year ahead!

"Mark and myself are thrilled to be given the opportunity to run The Motor Museum.  It is a truly magical building, and the bar has been set really high by Mike and it's previous occupants.  I'm very excited to carry on it's legacy and fly the flag for what I think is the North's most influential recording studio!"

"We want to make sure this studio remains at the top of the pile in terms of quality and output, and we are working with so much fantastic talent both locally and nationally that the future looks very bright.  The Motor Museum is notorious for kickstarting band's into the big league, and after running sessions in there for a few weeks I can see why!"
