The Square is the original Miloco studio based in the palpitating heart of trendy Hoxton, North london.

In 2010 we installed an SSL G-Series console to make the facility an amazing mix studio to compliment the great tracking space. The console is one of Olympic Studio's early SSL desks with 50 G-Series channels that have all been lovingly restored. We then upgraded the equipment spec by adding a GML 8200, a Lexicon 480L, 2 x Vac Rac Compressors and EQs, a Tubetech CL-1B compressor and a Tubetech PE-1C EQ. There are ATC SCM200 monitors, a 48 output Protools HD3 Accel Rig with a large selection of Plug-ins, a vast array of outboard and an extensive microphone collection.

The live room at the Square provides that quintessential funky drummer sound with an isolation booth and an upright piano and is perfect for tracking bands.

There really is no other SSL studio comes close on quality and price for recording and mixing.
